 Present Perfect is basically used to talk about.

1. Action that happened and finished at unspecific time in the past and show the result in the present.

2. Action that happened in the past and continues up to the present.

3. Life experience.

Ever

It is used in a question to ask for a person's life experience. ប្រើក្នុងប្រយោគសំណួរដើម្បីសួរថានរណាម្នាក់ធ្លាប់ធ្វើអ្វីមួយឬទេ?​ 

Yes/No question  

[ Have / has + sub + ever + past participle? ]

Short answers

- Yes, sub + have/has.

- No, sub + haven't/ hasn't.

Examples

  1. Have you ever tried Cambodian food?  
  2. Have they ever visited Angkor Wat temple? 
  3. Have your parents ever beaten you? 
  4. Has she ever talked to you? 

With "BE"

[ Have/has + sub + ever + been + adjective/noun?]

  1. Have you ever been lost in the city? (adj)
  2. Have they ever been to Cambodia? (noun)
  3. Has your mom ever been very mad with you? (adj)
  4. Has your teacher ever been late? (adj)

Never  

It is used in a positive sentence to mean that we never do something in life. ប្រើក្នុងប្រយោគស្រប ដើម្បីនិយាយថាយើងមិនធ្លាប់ធ្វើអ្វីមួយទេ។  

Positive

[ Sub + have/has + never + past participle.]

Examples

  1. I have never flown in an airplane.
  2. They  have never visited Angkor Wat temple.
  3. She has never cooked.
  4. My dad has never done the dished in my family.

With "BE"

[ Sub + have/has + never + been + adjective/noun.]

  1. She has never been to Cambodia. (noun)
  2. I have never been very sick. (adj)
  3. They have never been lost like this before. (adj)
  4. Our teacher has never been absent. (adj)
